Pavni Anand roots her practice in an exploration of the connections and tensions that exist within families, and how these relationships are reflected in the images we capture through photography. Her visuality examines the authenticity and reliability as representatives of reality, and attempts to highlight the subjective nature of memory. Challenging the traditional notions of photography as a purely visual medium, Pavni invites the viewer to explore other sensorial dimensions in understanding the world around us.
