The Geranium symbolises happiness, good health, good wishes and friendship. However, in certain situations it can also symbolise envy, deceit and folly. Most of these negative connotations were attributed throughout the Victorian era. Because of the flower’s simple and light appearance it became a symbol of foolishness and stupidity. This garment is constructed with numerous geranium flowers rendered with motifs from the stamp paper following an organic path to complete the asymmetrical pattern. - Bushra Waqas Khan
