Elaborating on her childhood experiences and curiosities concerning Delhi, Kriti Malini engages her visuality in understanding the metamorphic nature of the city. Looking at it as a sight of absorption and assimilation of cultures and people, Kriti’s artistic interrogation navigates our spatial surroundings by critically engaging with public grounds, gardens, and other liminal spaces that provide a moment of rest and relaxation. Moreover, Kriti’s practice investigates the integration of art in public spaces, assessing its meaning and value vis-a-vis the city (and its inhabitants) as a whole.
