Working with watercolour on paper, paper-cutting, and acrylic on canvas, Digbijayee Khatua captures urban landscapes marked by rapid urbanisation, power dynamics, ecological instability, and psychological saturation. Anant Art is geared to present a solo showcase of Khatua’s new works, known for their clean lines and vibrant colours.
Digbijayee Khatua (b. 1989, Orissa) holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Painting) from BK College of Art and Crafts, Bhubaneswar, and a Master of Visual Arts (Painting) from College of Art, New Delhi. Represented by Anant Art, his works have been exhibited internationally, including at Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum, Mumbai, and MOMus Museum of Contemporary Art, Thessaloniki, Greece. Digbijayee resides and works in New Delhi, India.
